@Rioluman They're not dressed up as the "mythological" gods - they're dressed up as the gods are depicted in another comic called "Valhalla"
Unlike Marvel's Thor, the Valhalla comic is much less flashy, and more realistic to how people would have looked when these gods were worshipped. So, the hammer is pretty much proportional to what looks realistic for a man to toss around.
