You can thank the American humorist Dave Barry for this. It was inspired by a joke in his book I'll Mature When I'm Dead. The joke is as follows:
"[Norway] does not have a lot of violent crime. If there were a TV crime show called CSI: Norway, most of the cases would involve improperly labeled herring."
(At least it's better than what he said about Norway in Dave Barry's Only Travel Guide You'll Ever Need.)
Anyway, the joke wandered around my brain until it bumped into our favorite webcomic and a well-known Internet meme, and the three of them went out drinking until all hours and this is what they turned into. I probably need professional help. I mean, I didn't even known there was a bar in my brain.

The meme was from CSI:Miami because in the theme song first you here the YEAAAAAAAAAAA! And agent Gibs's signature thing is saying something like what Norway said in the second and third panel and putting his sun glasses on. Plus people murdered in the CSI shows in USA, the cause of death goes from tape gun to frozen with a chemical that freezes anyyhing(I forgot what it's called.
