I hope cosplay counts as fan art...
This is the costume I wore at Anime Expo last weekend. It was fun, but a) do not get me started on pantyhose, and b) I was apparently the ONLY SatW cosplayer in the whole convention. I didn't see any others, and everyone who stopped me for a photo said they hadn't seen any others either. What gives, Californians?

What makes it weirder is that Anime Expo is huge. I heard once that it's the largest anime convention outside of Japan. Of course, that makes it pretty commercial and less fannish, and that might cut down on the quirk factor of people in costumes that are not, strictly speaking, anime-related.

I don't have France's hair color. I dyed it for the costume. Most people (including me) think I look better with black hair anyway, so it works out.
