Fan Art: OC - Brother Israel

Just one of the many OC's I've drawn, This one is Brother Israel as I see him.

Just a note. This is just a bit of fanart featuring an OC so I don't want any comments about the Arab-Israeli conflict hmmmk?

@StoutViking Yeah, Bro Israel should make up of 1 European-looking gay head, 1 Russian(since we had a Russian majority before the Mizrahi immigration and nearly got it back after the Russian one) with a Haredi
(ultra-orthodox) look(since the first Russians were religious, the communist youth immigration started the religious culture war on the state) and, of course, one Middle-Eastern head, with a knitted Kippah. Maybe a few smaller heads to show the Christians, Muslims, Druz Bahais and other minorities here.

@MiddleEastern No. LITERAL multi-headed. For god's sake, we are the biggest carriers of Tay Sachs, what tells you that we can't have ANOTHER crazy mutation?!

@emoemu I think he bleaches and trims it, in order to be less bullied.

@Rossum
I'm sure they had their reasons to do it but didn't you see I was merely pointing out who crossed who's border? I'm just going to delete that comment for other people who can't accept a small description.

@emoemu I don't have one....

@Dutchbag Also in 1956, the Israelis invaded the Sinai after massive feyhadeen terrorist incursions from there and Gaza. As for the invasions of Lebanon, the PLO and later Hizballah used them to lauch massive attacks against Israel.

That seems right!

I think his sis should be a TA young woman to counter his conservativism. xD

@Dutchbag - you're cherry picking your history man, there's a lot more to each of those conflicts than a simple date and line. Like in '67, when the whole thing started because Egypt closed the Straights of Tiran, a major shipping route, to Israel, which by the way is fair cause to go to war for any other country. Israel waited a month before attacking, and that was only because if it didn't, they would have run out of fuel and the economy would have shut down. Plus, at the beginning of hostilities, Israel warned Jordan to stay out, but Syria and Egypt bullied it into a mutual defense pact.
But you're listing these wars like Israel just woke up on the wrong side of the bed and attacked someone else. There were aggressions on both sides, and each of those wars had legal and moral justifications.

@Dutchbag - Inaccurate. At least Lebanon, was the next country supposed to make peace with Israel but then the Hezbollah cracked down on it and launched constant guerilla attacks on Israel from southern Lebanon. With the UN and NATO nowhere to be in sight when trouble is abundant, Israel took on itself to enter southern Lebanon to clear the threat. Mind you, it didn't fight the Lebanese army - as matter of fact, it joined forces with South Lebanon Defence Force who were also eagar to draw out the threat of Hezbollah.

If the UN and NATO would do their fucking job for once, this wouldn't happen. But all they do is waste taxpayer money and yak (I know - I'd have a "drunk buddy" UN watcher from Austria who'd watch in Syria. Guess where he is today that the mess began? Cowardice cunt).

I LOVE him! He really sums up a lot of who Israel is. Israel is NOT a violent country, just a place that lives surrounded by many enimies and struggles to hold ground.

Jor: As we see, even the leaders are just human. I get why people like him, and why the protests died out with a guy like him. Aash al-Maleek indeed!

@Dutchbag
A Trekkie monarch, that's hillaious in a way yet so... Human. He's an interesting person indeed. Might I also say I adore the Jordanian Royal Airlines. I come from the tourist industry and may I say - that is a fair price and a VERY leasurous service. Who needs business class? Their coach is awesome. Why does our national airline suck? (Wait, I know that one, I worked for them).

@StoutViking
Yes. A Star Trek theme park will open in 2014 as part of the $1.5-billion Red Sea Astrarium project in Aqaba, with the King being the majority local investor. He has a love and passion for sky diving, rally racing, scuba diving and science fiction. He promotes tourism in Jordan, having acted as a tour guide for Discovery Channel travel host Peter Greenberg in order to produce a show called "Jordan: The Royal Tour". In the program the king notes that since assuming the throne, he is no longer permitted to sky dive. King Abdullah also likes motorcycles, and toured Northern California on a Harley-Davidson in July 2010. He also ordered 38 army helicopters to help film Transformers: Revenge of the fallen.

5:19am Sat 5th Nov #863240

@Dutchbag - King Abdullah II is awesome - he played a minor part in "Start Trek" and his mother is actually Swedish.

2:00am Wed 2nd Nov #857251

@StoutViking
I imagine Jordan having a more civilized look. Oh, and he can get along with Israel. As in: Not having the urge to beat the living shit out of eachother when they meet. Oh, and he has the stubble beard of King Abdullah II. Because it's awesome. And Egypt and Israel don't have the urge to beat eachother up, but still hate eachother....they'll survive a conversation on the streets.

1:28pm Tue 25th Oct #838641

@LordSolarMacharius - Nah it ain't, it's just brother Jordan who looks upset for having the stars on his shirt come off in the wash.

The real McCoy would be packing explosives.
