My interpretation of the SATW embodiment of the state of Georgia.

It was tricky, since I'm from Georgia, but I think I did fine. So, let me explain my choices. I had to do some research to see what others thought of my home state, and I was surprised to learn that people stereotype Georgia as overrun with ethnic minorities (especially blacks in Atlanta and Hispanics in the rural areas) and wannabe gangsters. I was also intrigued, but not surprised, that we are stereotyped as people that down countless bottles of Coca-Cola. (That's actually true: I drink one every day I can, as did my mother, mother's mother, mother's mother's mother...)

I chose a Hispanic ethnicity for Georgia because people not from Georgia seem to think we've got a lot of them (like Arizona).

Naturally, I added the buck teeth and "HURR/DERP" look because the entire South is a victim of the "inbred redneck gun shooting" stereotype.

The belt and its large buckle should be self-explanatory.

Now, as for the nicely combed hair, I personally feel that Georgia is one of the more "intelligent" of the Southern states in the eyes of the rest of the nation. We have a highly graded school system and excellent universities, and we are still experiencing some slight job growth, though our unemployment is still high.


In hindsight, I could have added a stalk of cotton, or a pitchfork, a pair of sunglasses, or a peach (which I removed at the last second), but I'm quite pleased with what I made.

I am also considering making some SATW embodiments of dead nations.
