Yeah, I know Vasquez. I used to love watching Invader ZIM. Now that you mention it, I can see the resemblance. I still think it combines well with the anime influences. And it's especially appropriate for Iceland, given that he's a blend of cute and creepy himself. I have a lot of fun writing for him in fanfiction.

Yes, my style is based off of anime, as you said. But I kind of mixed it with a more grim style, belonging to an artist known as Jhonen Vasquez. A few examples of his art: [link] [link] [link]
...but this side of the style doesnt show much when I'm trying to draw cute things. It only comes out when I'm focused on drawing something a bit more creepy
