The cooles April-Fools-Joke i can remember, was some 20 years ago, when our local newspaper 'reported', that the police will not only use dogs, but also cougars for police-service, because cats can chase criminals on trees, a feature dogs can't... ;-)
There was even a picture of a policeman with a cougar on a leash... ;-)
In fact this cougar was the watchdog, i mean watchcat, on a junkyard.
Since guarded by the cat nobody broke in... I wonder why...?
