@TeXaSBoI Look, my hometown has been keeping a barbershop from starting business for half a year, for having ads on their marquees, which is somehow not permitted. They are also trying to shut down a grocery, for having a sign in the wrong colour above the entrance.
All that aside, we simply don't expect heatwaves of longer than a week in which anyone might need air condition. Days over 30°C (86°F) used to be very rare. No more than 10 per year in my childhood.
