I've had Indian customers tell me that most of India is like France in this respect. Except in many parts of India they don't even paint lines on the road. My father said Cairo was worse; cars, trucks, buses, bicycles, mopeds, chickens, camels, people, all doing their own thing with no lines, stop signs, or traffic signals. Biggest one wins I guess.
