From what I remember of this case, far from all hunters had agreed to leave the moose alone.
Some even said it SHOULD be shot, as an albino would not survive for long in the wild. (I call bull on that since Albin clearly made it to maturity)
The Dane apparently knew about this, but shot the moose anyway.
Frankly I too find it silly. Even though I am an animal lover...if you're going to go out shooting moose, what's the point in killing all the brown moose but leave the white one alone because he's white?... Does this remind you of anything?
