Calibizaro, perhaps it has something to do with the fact that we actually put those kinds of people on TV and shower them with money and fame? It doesn't help that quite a few of our tourists reinforce the stereotype. I'm not sure if they are a majority, but they certainly stand out, and pretty much every country gets a significant number of them visiting. Live in another country for a while, and you'll see why...
