As I have said earlier, this is probably the reason immigration, refugees etc. is such a complicated issue in Denmark. Most of these people come from countries with a lot more emphasis on religion and as a result, for many Danes it's fairly hard NOT to identify them by their religion first and foremost.
(And to be completely honest, MY personal view on the subject is not something I would bring up here.)
