@Lirkie I don't know about the youngest, but in the sense of *landmass* Danmark is literally made of sand from Norway, thus making him "younger". (Apparently; didn't know that. But I trust Humon.^v^)
But in the sense of *nations* Danmark is the oldest as in the country took shape before the neighbours, in modern terms, like under one king/leader and on paper. While Norway and most other countries (Sweden, Finland maybe) all did this around the same time (too), they were not free nations but in a union with Danmark and subordinate to him/it.
Because around year 1100 the vikings slowly faded and became united "countries" under one king. But by the time Sweden was one nation, and could be claimed as one, it - for example - went into a union with Danmark: The Kalmar Union, 1397.

Maybe you already looked it up, but I hope I could clarify and help you a little at least. ;3
