Well, when you study as many languages as I have, it's easier to make a broader comparison. Not that I'm good at all of them, but I do have a little more perspective than most people (at least in the US, where many haven't no foreign language experience, and very few have more than one).
Yeah, I would imagine it'd be very similar, I know I can't tell the difference. Yeah, that's about as far as I can go with the African accents, although there are a couple countries that stand out, like South Africa, which does sound different than most of its neighbors.
