Thank you, I try. I think I have a broad basis of knowledge and life experience, but I've been very fortunate in many areas. Interesting, I know Afrikaans is based on Dutch, but I don't know how different it is. Are they mutually intelligible like Norwegian and Swedish, or they only somewhat related, like German and English?

Yeah, it seems to work. I wasn't sure, this was going to be my first attempt, if it didn't work, I had a few other options to try, but I didn't need to bother, this way is pretty easy.

Thanks, it's one of my favorite words in any language. Someone on my college rugby team who was better at Norwegian than I was, but knew I was into it, taught me the word. As I told someone else here, he described it as "someone that would run head-first into a brick wall, get up, and do it again." I love that imagery. But I'm not like that at all... Nope... Not me...
