@Svear Even though not understanding Swedish (to be fair they sing most of their songs in English as far as i know, but most about Sweden are sung in Swedish, particularly those from the Carolus Rex album, i absolutely love Sabaton. Since i love both rock and history, particularly that of war/conflict in general, it'd seem natural, i guess.

Now, i've been listening to their songs for quite some years but their last album really drove me crazy. C'mon, they made a music about the Brazilian soldiers who fought in WWII! I would never have expected such a thing. Even our own bands do not have many songs (in fact, none that i know of) about Brazilian participation in WWII. Damn, even some (and i wouldn't be surprised if it was a significant portion) of our own people do not even know about such participation.

And their music is damn great. The vocals are astounding and the atmosphere they can create with music is unbelivable; Whenever i listen to "Stalingrad" i cannot help but have a mental image of a cloudy, dark sky.
