@Nightshade624 Unless you're part time, most part time jobs don't qualify for health insurance unless it's a large corporation that builds on keeping a healthy customer base. One example is the difference between Walmart and Kroger. Kroger supplies health insurance to part time/full time employees through Group Health, and all non-management employees are required to be unionized. Walmart only supplies healthcare to employees that work 30+ hours and actively discourages unionizing for employees.

I could go on and on about the evils of Walmart, but yeah. Employers only typically supply health insurance to a certain "pay grade" and above. My current job as part-time to a Kroger company is the first part-time job ever with health insurance. And despite all the bad stories I hear about Group Health, I can't complain. I get vision, dental (10 dollar copay, WHAT?) and of course general health and wellness. It's also good to remember that only bad stories about health insurance companies are ever really heard (because who honestly posts viral stories about how their health insurance covered their prenatal vitamins, or whatever?).
