@HUNDmiau I don't think you need to characterize everything like this. He is a legitimate academic. The issue is the video is a disgrace to actual academic standards and would never be accepted as a credible argument there. It's equivalent to a biologist making up fictional organs to manipulate people who don't know any better, he's preying of those with poorer standards. I wouldn't characterize him as an individual because I don't know him and we should avoid ad hominem. But, this video is definitely not a good moment for him.
