@frost @frost Dirndls are nice. They remind me of my heritage: I'm 50% German. Corsets are fun for conventions, though. They drop males' IQs. (Not my husband's IQ, though he does fog up my cleavage once in a while at conventions. Cosplay is fun!) Victorian English dresses are nice and comfy too. Lots of floor-length velvet accented by cloth-of-gold snug at the bodice then gently draping to the floor. They are beautifully modest.
San Francisco replicates Victorian London every year for Dickens Fair from Thanksgiving to just before Christmas (weekends). They have plays, singalongs, food, crafts, and lots of stores.
