For Foreigners who don't understand:
West Virginians are seen as Hillbillies. (Emphasis on the HILL part
)Marylanders are seen as Hillbillies on Boats who get crabs in both senses of the word. (Google "Maryland gets Crabs")
Virginians are stereotyped as well-to-do computer geeks who have earned the ire of their aforementioned neighbours.
Delaware is just an old guy because it was he was the first state, but, like in real life, he is easily forgettable to most people who have never visited him.
DC is, well.... just Google "crime in Washington DC".

I lived there for a few years, and yes, there are a lot of Hillbillies in WV and they're a pretty nutty group, but, as individuals, most of them are pleasant people.

I actualy moved to WV recently and I'v got to say, I really underestimated the truth to the stereotype. I never saw it during my vacations here so when I actualy started living here I was like "WTF HAPPENED?"

Hahaha you bet DC has crime, I went to see the sights and what not and stayed in a hotel just outside the city and Oh My God. ALL of the houses had bars over the windows and doors, it was terrifying.
