Belarus first entered the contest in 2004 with the song "My Galileo", one of my most favorite entries from that country. (Actually I like most of the Belarussian entries, but these three take the cake.) It's kind of nostalgic because it's exactly the music I liked when I was little.
In 2007, they entered with "Work Your Magic", my favorite rock song in Eurovision ever. Frankly this wins the whole contest for me.
And their most recent entry, I Love Belarus. This is number 2 in my top 10 this year. I LOVE BELARUS (in Eurovision)!

@Dutchbag Actually "Russia" also comes also from the word "blond" which in old-slavic language is..."rus"...
So basicly Belarus means "white" and "blond" like I said before, mate ;)

Mate, the 'Blond' part doesn't matter, it's because of Russia. The 'Bela' comes from 'Belaya' which means 'White'. It means "WHITE RUSSIA".

I was still right since i only adressed the White part but i was not informed about 'Rus' meaning 'Blond'... Accidentally learning!
