We have a similar word to "varisemine", "varista". The meaning is more like leafs falling from a tree, "lehdet varisevat puusta". The act of that happening is "variseminen", so it's very close to the estonian word even though the verb base form is "varista".
Incidentally, "varista" is also the partitive form crow.

The Finnish verb "to roll" is "vieriä", which quite likely comes from the same source as the estonian word. And there's a ton of other similarities too just in those estonian words you mentioned, like metsaveer, but that's to be expected when Finnish and Estonian are closely related... :P
