I did try to use a lot of emoticons to show that I was responding tongue-in-cheek. ;-)
However, one should not forget that the majority of baltic-finnics have lived to the SOUTH of Bay of Finland until the Livonian War.
So, if one starts nitpicking, finns are not the typical representatives of baltic-finnics. And thus the comment on the naming of the language group.
