@Nokyyn So true!! This has occurred only in the last decade or so. Things that were perfectly normal to say in the 70s and 80s are strictly forbidden now. I don't say 'African American' just like I don't say 'European American'. If your skin is black, then you are black. That's it. Should I insist that people should call me by my blood lines? Hell, they'd never reach the end of it. There is no 'Mexican-American,' if you were born here or became a citizen, you are American.
Stating straight facts can get you in trouble because someone somewhere won't like it and will throw a hissy fit over it.
