You have to either:
-Be a refugee
-Be some sort of super person like a noted scholar or artist or something like that
-Have an employer ready to sponsor you
-Be related to an American citizen
-Marry a US citizen.
-Win a literal lottery lol

No random person can just go "I'd like to apply to be an American."
