In Finland there is a few etiquette rules for jaywalking
1. If you see a child don't jaywalk, so the child wont pick up your nasty habits.
2. Wait till all the cars, bikers and cyclists have passed, otherwise your just having a death wish.
3. Less people there are in lights more OK it is, because some stupid people start to follow and gets hit (essentially same as N.1).
4. Make sure there is no police around, they give you a ticket.
