At women here who think sitting on a public toilet is unsanitary;
Ladies public toilets get dirty because people DO NOT sit on them and spray everywhere. You sit on your haunches not you private area so there shouldn't be anything left on the seat that is particularly fowl if you sit down other than sweat. I'm pretty sure hands are dirtier than the back of your thighs and outer buttock. You do still use door knobs?
I'm sick of bathrooms where there is pee everywhere because those who are afraid of getting dirty fail to see they are the ones making the mess.
It's totally cool for dude to stand though seeing as they should be able to control their stream (or at least one would hope).
