Wolves are a bit of a sore subject in Nordic countries. For farmers they are a bit of a problem, but most people would want to keep a healthy population alive, because you know nature. In Finland we also have a bigger problem from wolfdogs (half wolf half dog) that come from Russia. They have lots of stray dogs that mate with wolves and the pups usually don't fear humans, but are still feral like wolves. Let's just say it's a clusterfuck all around.
