Well, the only variant of written Norwegian that is similar to Danish (At least when looking at it in a Scandinavian context) is Bokmål, which was partially based on Danish. Nynorsk, which is pretty much purely based on spoken Norwegian, would be very difficult for a Dane to fully understand.
