@PaxRomana Also, a lot of Danes felt that the presence of the Jews in the country up to the war, was part of the reason why Nazi-Germnay invaded in the first place, so for those few that did return, it was typically not well recieved. Many thought that the war could have gone "smoother" for Denmark, had we just let the Waffen SS and Nazi-supporters root out Jews. So as you can imagine, moods weren't exactly favouring Jews around that time.
