I'm very homesick for a celebration of passage to maturity!
We did such dressing up, met my friends when being an elementary school and a junior high school, finished the system, took a picture by everyone and went out to a shrine took off these clothes and went to karaoke, bowling and an alcoholic party.
My that time's picture and kimono were burned away by fire, but only a memory is left even now.
