My family on my mom's side is catholic, not extremely but definitely noticable. It always makes me uncomfortable when my aunt does her prayers for the day (or every second day? not sure), before a meal or before going to bed. The pictures and small statuettes of Jesus and Mary also make me feel a bit weird...
I'm not judging religious people at all (as long as it stays peaceful), but being there while I myself am an atheist feels wrong... As if I'm intruding on something deeply personal, and offending them by simply not believing (I do not try to push my non-belief, ever).
