@Gabe The problem isn't religion itself, as most religions peach love and compassion. The problem is that people generally dislike people who are of a different mind than you. If you follow a religion, it's easy to get a "holier than thou" sort of thinking, making you think that everyone who aren't of your religion, are heathens that needs to be converted for their own good. And no, this is not limited to religion, it's like this for literally everything. You're democrat and not socialist? You just don't know the benefits. You prefer Harry Potter over Lord of the Rings? You just haven't seen it the right way
