Actually, if you read more of the articles about them, the Canadian green crabs are moving south and kicking the shit out of the more docile, US-water-native crabs.
Your US crabs might NEED guns!
(Also, the only Canadian "having trouble" with these hyper-aggressive little beasties, is the single poor marine-biology student who's stuck with the job of catching the grabby little bastards to study. Every time he tries to grab one, they grab onto him first. Just get the poor intern some gloves!)
