the vast majority of the people here who make cookies from scratch ((in my experience)) are like, people with a specific interest ((or job)) in cooking/baking. cake too... i used to think 'making a cake' just meant 'mixing this powdery stuff with water, milk, and eggs, and baking it.' i was almost grown before i realized the powdery stuff was premade cake mix XPP
