It’s a double-edged sword for Iceland (no pun intended). Sure, they’re the safest country this year, but one of these days somebody in Reykjavik is going to snap, and plow their car into a crowd somewhere... and just like that Iceland will become the most dangerous country in the world, as a quarter of the population dies in a year.
(I’m only half-joking. It was interesting to see how people used the 2011 Norway terrorist attack to play holy-hell with gun violence statistics for several years).
