@LuxVertas They were in fact not. Spartans didn't have a specific view on homosexuality except they expected all men to marry and have children and they alone in the Greek world punished pederasty with death.
The vikings were very anti gay. Men who were accused of being unmanly (ergi) either had to fight for death to prove otherwise if they didn't they became outlawed, exiled or executed.
