New What's on your Mind Thread (155) 25 2, 7:59am

I’ve been thinking of a way to say this for a while now, and I think it’s time I let it out.

I am leaving SATW.

Recently, SATW has lost its enjoyment. I now longer love hopping on this site to corrupt wishes and be a terrible therapist, and I can no longer force myself to do something I don’t love. I need to value my free time before I become an adult and have even less time.

This is really really difficult for me to say. I’ve been a part of this community for 3 or 4 years and through that time I have matured with the help of every soul on this site. This site was like family to me and it feels like I am leaving a part of me behind in leaving.

There are a few souls that stand out, so I am going to leave notes for a handful of people

@uktana. You are a kind, smart, thoughtful, and courageous person. I look up to you because you always come onto this site everyday with good material that makes me laugh, and you do so much. You have been the most active person since I joined, and I cannot thank you enough for the things you do for this community. Thank you for guiding me through my teenage years.

@The_Yellow_Ardvark. You’ve always been funny, witty, and deep-down caring. You and uktana are the last 2 daily people, so good luck carrying this website to new horizons.

@ManicBeard. You’ve always brought a new outlook on life than the rest of us. I thank you for that. Good luck on wherever your future endeavors will take you.

@Dorena. Keep looking on the bright side of life, and I’m sure you’ll find the good things about it. You’re correct that life sucks, A LOT, but it is also true that life is what you make it. Make sure you make your life a good one.

@InternetNomadic. I have no idea if you will ever find this, but if you do, you are smart, funny, and an excellent writer. The way you’ve granted wishes and solved problems have captivated me. I aspire to be as creative as you were, and I hope the fields you currently wander are rich and plentiful.

@Mixu. Oh, Mixu. Whatever happened to you! You were the best of us! Funny, smart, very witty, always looking to laugh and make others laugh. Oh, how I wish you could’ve been around for the past 2 years. Next time, try not to get on the bad side of the people in power.

I can’t think of anyone else, but to everyone else, thank you all so much. I will never forget this site.

Before I go, I’ll leave one of my absolute favorite songs, which is semi-fitting.

Bon voyage, and may your future be ever plentiful.
