I've known Danes, I've known Norwegians, and I've known Fins. Never had a chance to meet an Icelandic person, and I've only tangentially known any Swedes. (Friend of a friend sort of thing I met once at a party.)
To me as a native English speaking American they all sounded pretty incomprehensible (particularly the Fins.) However Danish irritates me because I can almost-but-not-quite understand it.
That said, all of the people from your dysfunctional family have been really nice to me so STOP BICKERING! Jeeze.
