@Dece Agreed that we did sign that treaty. Although one of the major reasons we did was because Ukraine did not have the funds to maintain the nuclear weapons in the 1990s and we had to prevent proliferation.
Unfortunately, we've also signed several treaties with the Russians since 1991 that we've broken -- ranging from space cooperation to plutonium reprocessing to expansions of NATO.
Putin is a war criminal, but I can absolutely understand why the Russians don't trust us. We make promises we cannot keep.
