bit of an update congress just passed a bill called Women Health Protection Act that will protect abortion rights across the US and make Roe v Wade federal law but right now it has only passed the house and needs to get past the senate so the bill is halfway there but I have no idea what will happen they also passed Ensuring Access to Abortion Act of 2022 so women who are in states that have banned/extremely restricted abortion can go to another state that still has an abortion so and not be punished though both bills still need to get through the senate I think the second bill is a more safeguard in case the first one fails at the senate. though both could fail too
