Traditional Chinese Medicine is widely practiced alongside conventional in China and in our diaspora. Sometimes it leads to a Nobel Prize ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tu_Youyou ), but sometimes to rare animals being killed to make dubious cures.
