So, fortunately, nuclear weapons degrade rather quickly (literally within 5-20 years depending how well they are maintained), and can become practically harmless after that (especially if they're underwater). So those lost nukes aren't a threat to anyone at this point.
However, it is kind of disconcerting that we lost them to begin with.... And even more so that we know the USSR lied about losing nukes, and lost a whole bunch of them after the USSR fell...
