In the short term, couple venues dropped the group's shows (mainly just the ones IN the USA), but there were many other venues eager to have them play, even if not quite as large, and they rebuilt their popularity through steadily working at it. A decade later, no one remembered USA had ever been in the band.
Brother USA had naturally attempted a solo singing career after that, but he never again enjoyed a fraction of the success he'd known as part of the G7 Group.
