Actually I think first mention was the comic where Denmark is reading a history book, seeing what most people were executed for. Most women in Norway were executed for Witchcraft, and most men for Incest. Sister Norway remarks that it wasn't with HER, so who? A tearful Brother Norway confesses it was their ... cousin I think? Jan Mayen.
I believe I'm remembering that right. It's too late at night for me to start hunting down the comic for a link (those tend to get removed anyway) but it was somewhere in the older half... 2016 or earlier maybe? Well before the Covid comics...
