Im suprised but then again. Australia declared war on Emus... I quess we are still fighting/allying with our fellow earthlings. No earthling a master of other.

sir Nils Olav the second was adopted by the Norwegian Royal Guard. THe idea came from Lieutenant Nils Egelien. He is named after the lieutenant and King Olav. He's currently Honourable Regimental Sergeant Major, the first in Norway, there's a 1.2 meter tall bronze statue in Edinburgh zoo. He was actually knighted by british general major Euan Loudon, as Norway doesn't practice knighthood

I think it's happened more than once.
I think when the knighted penguin dies, a new penguin is knighted to take over his position.
I could be wrong, but I think this is how it is,
