I have read of a (fictional) Anarchist Party where their platform was to try to eliminate any office they were elected to, and to otherwise try to do nothing while in office.
I used it as the basis for a pitch I made in high school to protest how little power the "Student Government" actually had (could not even spend the money they raised without approval from the Principal).

The guy was a joke. He ran as a joke. He did not even expect to be taken seriously. But you know how it is, he is famous in Iceland, being a funny actor.
