The Crimeas are not very social. Or socialist.
They were happy alone as a country, until their guardian of some kind of relation, Russia, made them move back in with him. Russia still insists that he's their father now, but they still don't like him. Or the rest of his family, really. Nothing bad to say about them, but nothing really great about them either.
I understand why everyone is depressed or annoyed, except Estonia.
She probably wants to welcome new family members with warmth (no political background). Well, she's the only one. Everyone else just wants to get away.
So, this character is the USSR, rather than just Russia? I'm not sure about me welcoming the Soviet Union, but it's fine that he is distinct from Russia.
