@Myrica Aha, well Oktoberfest originates from Bavaria so there's that ^^ What I can say is that others (especially Americans and Brits) trying to live "the Scandinavian way" and does so in a rather strange way feels rather weird The traditional clothes from Bavaria looks super nice though <3
@StarrySky Aww thanks a ton! They needed the flag colours somewhere, so why not the ribbons? I'm also happy that they come off as friendly as that is also how I see germans
@Lostdaydreams Many thanks! I've always thought the traditional southern german outfits were super cute, but I've never really had an oppertunity to draw them until now
@skyacya Haha Bavarian clothes are very iconic for Germany I guess?Even if the ones from the beer festival don't seem to be really like the original design at least its close.
Tho I always wondered how clothes from other regions look like,I tried to find some pictures online but never found anything else aside from the bavarian ones.
@skyacya Yeah I know from my own country were each region has its own unique designs,so that's why I was curios to see what Germany has from one region to another. But I guess the south won the popularity contest there so mostly they get attention. At least on the internet.
@Lostdaydreams In Denmark we also had a lot of different styles, like Humon has made a comic of before. Traditional clothing in northern Germany from I can tell tends to not be _that_ different from the south, but with more layers and longer sleeves - a bit like in Denmark. I guess Oktoberfest really gave the southern wear a boost in popularity
