Saaaame! I'm russian and my family is Orthodox just like you. I converted to another religion (Wicca), but that was for another reason because I don't live in Russia. I switched because I genuanly don't agree with a lot of the values and beliefs of orthodox Christianity. But yeah, in Russia, religeon most of the time is used as a tool against people they dislike such as the LGBTQ+ community.
