Yes, I'm supposed to be an orthodox, just like all my family, but in my country religion is a propaganda tool, telling our people shitty creepy things, so that's why I'm atheistic as fuck.

It's better here in America, but it still has many flaws. God would be very disappointed in most American "Christians".

Saaaame! I'm russian and my family is Orthodox just like you. I converted to another religion (Wicca), but that was for another reason because I don't live in Russia. I switched because I genuanly don't agree with a lot of the values and beliefs of orthodox Christianity. But yeah, in Russia, religeon most of the time is used as a tool against people they dislike such as the LGBTQ+ community.
